He was member of The Luxemburg Chamber of Commerce and was awarded “Man of the Year” in 2012. He was a charter member of the Luxemburg Lions Club. Ron and his wife started Ron’s Wisconsin Cheese in 1976 and ran the business till his retirement. He worked for Pauly’s Cheese as a state cheese grader for 18 years. Ron was the youngest licensed cheese marker in Kewaunee County employed with Casco Cheese, in 1960 at the age of 19. On September 9, 1961, he married his high school sweetheart Marilyn J.
